Tommy Boy

Thought I would throw up a recent pic I did of the great Sanford Greene's character, Tommy Boy, from his independent project, "1000". Hopefully, I did it justice. I'm debating whether or not to give you a link to Mr. Greene's site, but don't want to risk the fact that you may not return to this here one after seeing some of his work. It is quite the predicament.
.
After 5 to 10 seconds of deep thought and consideration, I will go ahead and provide the info. Afterall, there's so much other stuff I offer here than just artwork. The witty banter, the useful advice (remember just a couple of posts ago when I told you to check your spam folder?), and the knowledge you just can't get anywhere else, such as how peanut butter and strawberry jam sandwiches are actually better than peanut butter and jelly ones. Also, Apple Jacks ruined their product when they added the green loops. See, so much more than just pretty pictures. So check out Sanford Greene at http://codegreene.blogspot.com, and return here for all your sports and cereal knowledge needs.

Good Morning, Sunshine

Earlier this summer, I finally got around to seeing that Wolverine Origins movie that just came out...2 summers or so ago. I know what you're thinking...and no, I don't know how I constantly stay ahead of the curve either. Anyway, the Deadpool dude did his thing, ripping off sarcastic comments, slicing speeding bullets in half with a sword...pretty much stuff that only him and I have in common. But (SPOILER ALERT...can I still do that on a two-year old movie??), they put an end to his witty sarcasm by stitching up his mouth at the end of the movie, which while it looks really cool, doesn't seem to be all that ideal for other regular human functions, such as eating...or talking.
.
I was fascinated so much so by this incredible plot twist, that I decided to explore how a certain killing machine would go about his breakfast. Turns out, he doesn't get very far. Unless he takes doughnuts and coffee intravenously, but that just seems crazy. Either way, a fun picture to draw, and finally catching the movie proved to be quite informative. I was thinking of a possible adamantium infusion procedure, but after seeing the process...not so much. So maybe I'll just fake it and get the tattoo?? Still undecided, but will keep you posted.
